Best exercises to do with Resistance Booty Band

Let’s have a look at the exercises we can do with a resistance band.

ü  Squats

Wear the resistance band around your thigh, just a few inches upper from your knee. Spread your legs enough to create a tension in the band.

Now, hold your hands together and slowly bend your knees. Just stop bending when your bottom is at your knee level. And then, stand up again slowly. Repeat this for 5-10 times, preferably 30 seconds to 1 minute.

This will directly work on your thigh and glute muscles, giving an effective result when done regularly.

ü  Glute Bridge

For this one, you need to lie down on your back. Place the band exactly the same way before around your thigh and bend your knees keeping your feet touching the floor.

When you have created satisfactory tension in your band, lift your hip up until it creates a perfect angle with the floor. Then slowly lower your hip and continue this for minimum 30 seconds.

Along with your butt muscles, it is also a good exercise for your abdomen.

ü  Side Squats

Keep your resistance band a little upper than your knees. Now, stretch your legs and bend a bit.

Hold your hands together and step to the right. After taking one or two steps in that direction, do the same with your left leg.  However for it to work to its full extent, you must exert enough force so that your legs should are stretched enough to maintain the pressure of the band.

ü  Standing Back-kick

This is a relatively easy one. All you need to do is, stand still keeping a stable posture and kick your legs back.

Place the resistance bands in your thighs, right above your knees. Now place your hands on the back of your head and stretch your right leg backwards as far as possible. After doing that for 30 seconds, repeat the same with your left leg.
