5 Tips for Cultivating and Manifesting Positivity
Manifesting Positivity
I like to believe that smiles are infectious. I also think that positivity is infectious. When I surround myself with the dreamers, the doers, the believers, and the thinkers, I genuinely feel better. I’ve learnt to surround myself with those who see the greatness within me, even when I don’t see it myself.
A Positive Outlook
Those who keep a positive attitude during tough times are an inspiration to others. I encourage you to be that inspiration for others!
The universe is always responding to your energy, whether you are aware of it or not. Without exception, the Universe will deliver people, experiences, and outcomes that match your vibrational frequency. So, it’s important to be aware of your energy and thought at all times so you can co-create your reality with the Universe.⠀
When you’re sending out low-vibe energy into the Universe, you’ll attract negative outcomes. But when you send out high-vibe energy into the Universe, you’ll attract the outcomes you desire.
Cultivating Positivity
The universe is like a mirror: whatever you are putting out will always be reflected back. Remember that positive thoughts attract positive outcomes.
Here are some tools for cultivating positivity.
1. Develop a morning routineWe all have days where we hit the snooze on our alarm and struggle to get out of bed, but starting your day off on a positive note can cultivate a positive mood that can continue throughout the day. Consider having a nutritious breakfast, practice some meditation in the morning before work, or recite some positive affirmations.
2. Take time away from social mediaI’ll be the first to admit that I spend hours, endlessly scrolling through Instagram or TikTok, only to compare myself to the pictures and videos I see. As much as we reach for our phones the moment the “ding” does off, it can be a wonderful experience to take a break from social media. Whether it’s a few hours, a day, or a week, taking a pause from social media can allow us to experience the world around us, rather than staring down at our phones.
I’m being 100% honest when I say that setting boundaries in my life has been the most rewarding experience. I used to say “yes” to every request, which only led to grunts and stress in my life. Now, I commit to things that I actually want to, and I say no to things that are not good for my mental health.
4. Consume positive contentCultivating positivity means bringing positive objects into my life. I’ve built an everyday routine where I dedicate time consuming positive content, whether that’s 5 minutes or 30 minutes. I listen to empowering podcasts, read motivational books and listen to my favorite music playlists.
5. Change your environmentWe are the products of our environment. If you surround yourself with negativity, then it’s going to be hard to bring more positivity into your life. Energy is contagious! When possible, surround yourself with a bright and sunny environment, bring plants or bright lighting into your home, and incorporate positive environments into your life, such as doing work at a fun cafe rather than working at home.
